Cross over quickness for tennis players.

The crossover step is used extensively in tennis  to recover after hitting a forehand or backhand stroke. If the player is forced to chase down a wide ball he/she needs to recover back to the middle of the court as quickly as possible to stay in the point.
Here’s a drill to work on improving the crossover step and first step acceleration:

  1. This is extremely helpful and I would def be interested in working on this, as I notice one of my major issues in playing tennis is not returning to center court quick enough when trying to reach for a ball on the sides of the court!
